About Jake
Jake is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in UK travel regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the Travel & Leisure Team at White Hart Associates in 2021, Jake was with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for almost 14 years, working as a Manager in the CAA’s professional team responsible for overseeing the financial health and regulatory compliance of the Top 100 largest tour operators under the ATOL Scheme.
During his time at the CAA, Jake also participated in overseeing high profile leveraged buy-out and refinance transactions of ATOL holders and was deputy-lead of the CAA flight repatriation exercises for passengers affected by the failure of Monarch Airlines and Thomas Cook Group.
Jake now uses his experience to provide hands-on support and advice to a range of stakeholders across the travel sector that require solutions to finance, strategic and regulatory issues (often relating to ATOL, ABTA Membership and/or IATA Accreditation).
In his spare time Jake enjoys spending time with his young family and watching live sport, being an NFL fanatic and Arsenal season ticket holder.
